kill, kill, kill, die, die, die
that’s what it’s all about. seriously, it kinda sickens me how cheerful people can be about a persons death, even if it is osama bin laden.
considering the numerous disgustingly hateful and distasteful posts in some tumblogs today, i had to drastically reduce the list of blogs i’m following.
i certainly do not approve of all the murders caused osama bin laden was responsible for they are just as despicable as any other murder. and that is the point. it ist wrong to kill a person no matter what they did AND it is wrong to make fun of peoples suffering and death.
being a med student i have a lot of respect for life and it is horrifying how people seem to lose all their humanity and empathy.
knowing that for some people out there, still cheering on osamas death in their patriotic flush, won’t take humanity as an argument i have just one more thing to think of: was it really such a wise decision to kill osama? wouln’t it have been wiser to put him on trial? clearly, it would have been better for the clean, fair image the USA cares so much for and maybe there would not be a cercle vicieux of revenge which is very likely to begin now.
i’ve been trying to follow the weird thoughts of all those cheering people and obviously it’s all about the old (and primitive) “an eye for an eye”-scheme. many people died and suffered due to osama bin laden’s instructions. also, many people died and suffered by command of many other people, amongst them george w. bush and peace nobelprice winning barack obama. i don’t even want to think about what would happen if we really applied scheme mentioned above everywhere in life.
oh btw, the lovely girl above is one of the “good guys’”-victims, covered in her parent’s blood. i know this picture is sickening, that’s the natural way we should feel about tragedies of that kind. to those who are still feeling like cheering all over the place i’d strongly suggest to consult a shrink.
